Kate Precision Machinery Features of HTPM Ball Screw
High Reliability

High Efficiency
HTPM ball screws operate through the rolling motion of steel balls within the ball nut. The transmission efficiency of a ball screw is 2 to 4 times that of a sliding screw. Compared to sliding screw transmission, ball screw transmission can drive larger loads with less power, consuming only 1/4 to 1/2 the power of a sliding screw.
High Precision
HTPM ball screws and ball nuts are precisely machined, ground, assembled, and quality-controlled in a constant temperature room, ensuring high-precision quality.
High Rigidity
HTPM ball screws adopt a Gothic arch groove shape, allowing for optimal contact between the steel balls and the thread raceway for smooth movement. Adding appropriate preload to eliminate axial clearance can further enhance rigidity, reducing elastic deformation between the steel balls, ball nut, and ball screw and achieving even higher precision.

External Circulation Ball Screw
a. Structure
An end-cap type external circulation ball screw consists of a screw, nut, balls, and a return mechanism. The end-cap type external circulation structure features a ball return mechanism at the nut end and through-holes in the nut. Axial through-holes are drilled in the nut wall to serve as return channels for the balls. Return mechanisms are fitted to both ends of the nut. The return mechanism interfaces are tangential to the screw thread raceway and guide the balls into the return holes to form a closed loop.

2) Small radial and axial dimensions of the nut;
3) High load capacity, high reliability, low noise, high speed.

Internal Circulation Ball Screw
a. Structure
An internal circulation ball screw consists of a screw, nut, balls, return mechanism, and sealing device. In the side holes of the nut, there is a return mechanism (or ball return device) connecting adjacent raceways. The ball return grooves on the return mechanism allow the balls to roll along the raceway, cross over the top of the screw thread raceway teeth, and return to the initial raceway, forming a circulating ball chain (i.e., a row).
b. Features
1) Suitable for small and medium leads;
2) For medium and low-speed applications;
3) Small nut outer diameter, suitable for minimum space installation.
