The SRG series is a roller type LM linear guide with a cage.

Structural features: The roller-type LM linear guide achieves low friction, smooth movement, and long-term maintenance-free operation through the use of a roller cage. In addition, to achieve ultra-high rigidity, rollers with low elastic deformation are used as rolling elements, and the diameter and length of the rollers are optimized. Furthermore, to ensure that the four acting directions (radial, reverse radial, lateral) have the same rated load, each roller series is designed with a contact angle of 45°.

Effects of the roller cage: 1. Because the rollers are evenly spaced and arranged in a cycle, this prevents roller offset, minimizes fluctuations in rolling resistance, and thus achieves smooth and stable movement.

2. There is no mutual friction between the rollers, allowing the lubricant to remain in the grease bag, thus enabling long-term maintenance-free operation.

3. There is no mutual friction between the rollers, resulting in less heat generation and thus excellent high-speed performance.

4. The rollers do not collide with each other, resulting in low noise and good sound quality.

The most direct advantage of the SRG series rollers is line contact; other ball series sliders are point contact. Line contact is smoother, has a higher load capacity, and runs more smoothly than point contact.

This device moves left and right using the linear guide rail to process the profiles. However, the guide rail on site could no longer move left and right, preventing it from working. It was visually apparent that the linear guide rail was damaged. When the equipment on the guide rail was lifted with a crowbar and the slider was removed, it was found to be damaged. Due to severe rusting at the mounting points of the slider and rail, it was difficult to remove the slider when disassembling it, which may have caused the damage to the linear guide rail. When we tried moving it again after replacing it with a new slider, the movement was still very poor. It is estimated that simply replacing the slider would not only cause it to be damaged again, but may also damage the rail and rack. Therefore, we informed the customer of the current condition of the equipment, the repair method and the quotation, and persuaded the customer to carry out further repairs.
