Precautions before Installation:

1、 Damper installed between the slider and guide rail after installation, the guide rail horizontal plane and the straightness of the vertical plane must be within the specified requirements.

2、 Before installation, the guide rail installation screws are tightened to the specified tightening torque.

3、 Place the copper screw hole cap into the guide rail installation countersink, with the tapered side of the copper screw hole cap facing down.

4、 Place a flat piece of iron on the copper screw hole cap and use a hammer to vertically strike the iron piece until the interference burr of the copper screw hole cap is cut off. Wipe the guide rail surface and the burrs of the copper screw hole cap with a cloth. Continue to vertically strike the iron piece with a hammer until the copper screw hole cap is flush with the guide rail surface. Use an oil stone to smooth the surface of the copper screw hole cap.

Installation Method:

Method 1: Ensure guide rail surface and the inner surface of the damper are free of oil stains. The top surface of the guide rail and the top surface of the damper are marked with model number, factory number and arrow. Install the damper between the two sliders on the guide rail according to the corresponding number and arrow direction. Manually tighten the installation screws of the damper. Place a dial indicator on the two corners of the side of the damper, push the damper laterally so that it presses against the guide rail, and set the dial indicator pointer to " 0 ". Push the other side of the damper so that it presses against the guide rail, read and record the two dial indicator readings, and calculate the average of the measurements; adjust the damper to half the value; tighten the bolts with a torque wrench; remove the end cap on one side of the damper, install the lubrication joint and start supplying oil.

 

Method 2: Apply a uniform layer of lubricating oil of the same brand as the machine tool centralized lubrication to the inner surface of the damper; install the damper between the two sliders on the guide rail according to the factory number marking and arrow; connect the lubrication joint on the side of the damper, connect the hydraulic pump, and then install the workbench on the slider. Tighten all the screws connecting the sliders with a torque wrench according to the corresponding torque requirements, while the screws connecting the damper only need to be lightly tightened by hand; supply oil to the damper using the hydraulic pump, then slightly move the workbench back and forth two or three times, then supply oil to the damper again, repeat two to three times, and tighten the screws connecting the damper with a torque wrench according to the requirements.
