Structural features of the SHS series

The SHS series steel balls roll along the precisely ground LM rail and LM slide on the 4 rated rows of rolling surfaces; through the ball retainer and the end cover plate assembled on the LM slide, the steel ball rows make a circular motion.

In order to ensure that the four directions of action (radial, anti-radial and lateral) on the LM slide have the same rated load, each ball row is designed with a contact angle of 45°, so it can be used in any posture, and because it can apply equal pre-pressure, it maintains a low friction coefficient while strengthening the rigidity in four directions. At the same time, because of its low cross-sectional height and the high rigidity design of the LM slide, stable high-precision movement is obtained.
