Standard THK linear guides come with high-quality lubricant (lubricating oil) or lithium soap. Base grease is injected inside the slider. After installation and trial operation, please relubricate the slider before formal operation. Lubrication should use the same lithium soap-based lubricant.

THK guide surfaces are coated with rust preventive oil before leaving the factory. If the guides are cleaned during installation, please apply THK guides an appropriate layer to the surface. Compatible lubricant.

Since the THK linear guide sliders are composed of many plastic parts, avoid contact or immersion of these parts with certain organic solvents during cleaning to prevent damage to the THK guide. Foreign objects entering the slider are one of the causes of slider failure and damage, and this should be avoided.
