Linear guides, also known as linear rails, slides, linear bearings, or linear slides, are used in high-precision or high-speed reciprocating linear motion applications. They can also handle a certain amount of torque, enabling high-precision linear motion under high loads.
Linear Guide: Classification
According to structure, linear guides can be divided into three categories: roller linear guides, ball linear guides, and cylindrical linear guides. These are used for guiding and supporting, enabling linear reciprocating motion in a specified direction.
According to friction properties, linear motion guides are further divided into rolling friction guides, sliding friction guides, fluid friction guides, elastic friction guides, etc., which is more complex.
According to function, linear guides can be divided into single-axis linear guides, dual-axis roller linear guides, and square ball linear guides.
Classification by Precision
LGR Series Roller Linear Guide
The LGR series of precision roller linear guides uses cylindrical rollers instead of steel balls. The rollers and the guide/slider have line contact, resulting in only minimal elastic deformation under high loads, significantly increasing the rigidity of the guide.
Features: High motion precision, high load capacity, high rigidity, extra-long lifespan, strong sealing and dust prevention capabilities, maximum speed up to 180 m/min, maximum acceleration up to 2G.
The LGR series features high speed, high precision, and heavy load capacity. It allows CNC machine tool manufacturers to develop high-end products that meet the needs of key national industries, such as high-speed, high-precision, and heavy-duty CNC machine tools used in automotive manufacturing, shipbuilding, wind and nuclear power generation, and aerospace manufacturing.
LGS Series Ball Linear Guide
The LGS series ball linear guide features a four-row single circular arc groove contact design. Each ball row has a 45-degree contact angle, giving the LGS guide the ability to handle four-directional equal loads and self-align.
Features: High operating precision, strong self-aligning capability, high rigidity in all directions, high sealing, easy installation, good interchangeability, environmentally friendly, and quiet operation.
LGS series guides are widely used in CNC machine tools, rail transit, aerospace, electronic information equipment, woodworking machinery, metallurgical equipment, and medical devices.
