2. Size and shape: This needs to be determined based on the specific application, including the length, width, and height of the linear guide and slider, ensuring that all components match and meet the usage requirements, as well as the requirements of different brands (THK linear guide sliders, HTPM linear guide sliders, HIWIN linear guide sliders, etc.)
3. Load capacity: Select a slider with the appropriate load-bearing capacity based on the weight of the item to be slid to ensure safe use.
4. Accuracy grade: Products usually indicate the accuracy grade. High-precision sliders ensure that the equipment's movement trajectory is more accurate, and should be selected according to equipment needs.
5. Motion characteristics: This includes resistance, preload level, lubrication effect, etc. Sliders with a high preload level have a small or negative gap between the slider and guide, resulting in high sliding resistance; conversely, sliders with a low preload level have low sliding resistance. The selection should be based on the actual application scenario, such as high preload for large guide specifications, large loads, impacts, and high precision, and low preload otherwise.
6. Adaptability and installation: Ensure that the selected slider can work well with other components of the equipment, such as motors and screws, and consider the ease of installation to save time and effort.
7. Service life and maintenance: Consider the service life of the slider and whether it is easy to maintain and choose cost-effective products.
