1. What is the role of linear guide rail sealing?

The sealing measures of the linear guide rail slider are designed to prevent contaminants (such as dust, debris, and liquids) from entering the slider. When the slider moves, a negative pressure area is formed behind it, which will draw in dust. Accumulated dust inside the guide rail's fixing screws and on the guide rail surface reduces the guide rail's lifespan. Therefore, while preventing dust, it is also necessary to maintain the stability of the lubricant to ensure the normal operation and extended lifespan of the guide rail system.

2. What are the linear guide rail sealing measures?

1. Use sealing end caps and sealing bottom plates to prevent dust and debris from entering the slider.

2. Internal sealing: Internal sealing is used when the sealing end caps at both ends of the slider cannot fully block foreign objects, resulting in a small amount entering the slider. This prevents these foreign objects from entering the raceway and affecting the service life of the guide rail.
