The HSR type linear guide rail is a world standard type and is the most commonly used linear guide rail model. Each ball row is configured at a contact angle of 45° so that it has the same rated load in the four directions (radial direction, reverse radial direction, lateral direction) acting on the LM slider, thus it is a world standard size LM guide rail that can be used in any posture.

THK HSR-A series With flange, because the mounting part of the LM slider has been machined with threaded holes, it is suitable for easy-to-install combined installation. It is a 4-bolt type.

THK HSR-B series With flange, because it is assembled from the bottom surface of the LM slider, it is suitable for situations where the worktable cannot open mounting bolt through holes. It is a 4-bolt type.

THK HSR-R series Without flange, the width of the LM slider mounting part is shortened, and threaded holes suitable for combined installation are processed. It can be interchanged with NSR-TBA. It is a 4-bolt type.

THK HSR-LA series With flange, it has the same cross-sectional dimensions as the HSR-A type, increases the length of the LM slider and increases the number of effective balls, belonging to the super heavy load type. It is a 4-bolt type.

THK HSR-LB series With flange, it has the same cross-sectional dimensions as the HSR-B type, increases the length of the LM slider and increases the number of effective balls, belonging to the super heavy load type. It is a 4-bolt type.

THK HSR-LR series Without flange, it has the same cross-sectional dimensions as the HSR-R type, increases the length of the LM slider and increases the number of effective balls, belonging to the super heavy load type. It is a 4-bolt type.

In THK linear guide rail HSR series, steel balls roll along the LM rail and the rolling surfaces of the LM slider in four rows; the steel ball row circulating motion is achieved by the end cover plate assembled on the LM slider. Because the steel balls are held by the retaining plate, even if the LM slider is pulled out from the LM rail, the steel balls will not fall off, except for HSR8, 10 and 12 types.

Due to severe rusting at the mounting points of the slider and rail, it was difficult to remove the slider when disassembling it, which may have caused the damage to the linear guide rail. When we tried moving it again after replacing it with a new slider, the movement was still very poor. It is estimated that simply replacing the slider would not only cause it to be damaged again, but may also damage the rail and rack.
