THK Guide Rail Features:
★ Structure and Features: Steel balls roll along four rows of rolling surfaces that have been precision-ground on the LM rail and LM slide block; the ball retainer and the ball returner assembled on the LM slide block cause the steel ball rows to circulate. To ensure that the four directions of action (radial, anti-radial, and lateral) on the LM slide block have the same rated load, the steel ball rows are designed to be arranged at a contact angle of 45 degrees, so they can be used in any posture. And because even pre-pressure can be applied, a low friction coefficient is maintained while enhancing rigidity in four directions. Precautions for Disassembling THK Linear Guide Rails:
1. The ends and sides of the linear guide slide block have plastic parts. For HIWIN linear guide rails, do not use hard tools or hammers during installation. During trial operation after installation, for THK linear guide rails, do not allow any objects to impact them at high speed. If the plastic parts break, the balls will roll out, and the slide block will fall.
2. Lubricating oil is injected into the linear guide rails at the factory. If cleaning is required, it must be dried first, and then lubricating oil is re-added. For linear guide rails, operation without lubrication is strictly prohibited.
3. Do not remove the slide block from the linear guide rail unless necessary. If removal is necessary, align the auxiliary linear guide rail first before removing the slide block.
4. Disassembling the components of the linear guide rail is strictly prohibited, as this may affect accuracy and flexibility. Adding non-compliant balls to the linear guide rail is strictly prohibited.
