Optimized Damping Characteristics
The hydraulic heavy-duty damper DSC series adopts a new type of airbag buffer reset structure from Germany, which greatly expands the buffering capacity (up to 930kJ) and stroke range (up to 1500mm). The reset structure of the DSC series replaces the mechanical reset spring with high-pressure nitrogen, effectively shortening the length of the damper. During buffering, the hydraulic oil flows through multiple throttle holes, generating viscous damping force, converting the impact energy into heat dissipation; the hydraulic oil discharged from the multi-stage throttle holes compresses the volume of the airbag; when the load is removed, the hydraulic oil returns to the inner oil cavity under the pressure of the airbag, pushing the piston rod to reset. The DSC series of hydraulic heavy-duty dampers meet global industrial safety standards such as OSHA, AISE, CMMA, DIN, and FEM. Compared with the DTH series, DSC also has a similar structure and working principle; however, due to the advanced airbag reset design, the DSC series has lower peak reaction force and smoother buffering effect, making this series have good applications in amusement equipment and automated warehousing industries involving personal safety.
Installation Requirements:
1. The damper needs to be fixed to the ground or mechanical equipment via flange. The fixing must be firm and reliable, without any shaking;
If it is fixed to mechanical equipment, ensure the rigidity and strength of the fixed position, and it must not shake or deform due to impact; any form of loose fixing or unstable support is likely to damage the damper, thus failing to provide effective protection.
2. When installing horizontally, ensure that the direction of the damper's piston rod coincides with the direction of the load impact, and the linear included angle must be less than 0.5° (this is extremely important, lateral force will greatly affect the safety and life of the damper); also ensure that the impact contact surface between the load and the damper is completely perpendicular to the direction of the damper's piston rod; for dampers with a stroke greater than or equal to 300mm, front flange mounting or double flange mounting is recommended; for dampers with a stroke greater than or equal to 600mm, double flange mounting is strongly recommended (or an additional fixing bracket is added by the customer).
3. When installing vertically, ensure that the direction of the damper's piston rod coincides with the direction of the load impact. In general, it is free fall motion. Ensure the verticality of the damper (the included angle between the piston rod and the vertical direction must be less than 0.5°. This is extremely important, as lateral force will greatly affect the safety and service life of the damper); also ensure that the impact contact surface between the load and the damper is completely perpendicular to the direction of the damper's piston rod; for dampers with a stroke greater than or equal to 300mm, rear flange mounting or double flange mounting is recommended; for dampers with a stroke greater than or equal to 600mm, double flange mounting is strongly recommended (or an additional fixing bracket is added by the customer).
4. For harsh working environments, such as a lot of dust, impurities, and rainwater, it is recommended to add a piston rod protective cover to the damper when ordering to extend the service life of the damper.
TECHNICAL DATA
Compact design, high energy absorption, stroke up to 1500mm, suitable for a variety of applications.
The DTH series is a customized product. Customers need to provide detailed application parameters. We provide customers with the most suitable product through professional calculations and precise design to achieve the ideal buffering effect.
The design complies with OSHA, AISE, CMMA standards and DIN, FEM safety regulations.
Compared with the DTH damper, DSC has lower peak buffering force and smoother buffering effect, and is widely used in amusement equipment industries involving personal safety.
The outer cylinder is made of special corrosion-resistant epoxy spray paint, and the piston rod is hard chrome-plated, so DTH products can be used in outdoor or offshore high-corrosion environments.
Wider temperature range, standard model (-10℃~+80℃), special model (-40℃~+120℃)
A wide variety of accessories meet the various installation and use needs of customers.
NOTE
Maintenance Requirements:
1. Regularly check the surface of the piston rod for dirt and other impurities. If any, please wipe them clean.
2. Regularly check whether the piston rod of the damper is fully extended; if it is not fully extended, there may be a pressure loss. Please contact Detec for further inspection; if the customer needs to replenish the pressure by themselves, please confirm with Detec.
3. Regularly press the piston rod along the axis of the piston rod to see if there is any pressure loss inside the damper; if there is a pressure loss, handle it in the same way as in item 2.
4. Regularly check the appearance of the damper for obvious oil leakage; if oil leakage is found, stop using the damper and contact Detec for further inspection.
5. For frequently used dampers, regularly check whether the damper installation and fixing are still reliable and firm (e.g., check whether the flange fixing bolts are loose, etc.).
6. For frequently used dampers, regularly check the angle between the direction of the damper's piston rod and the direction of the load impact to see if it has become larger (whether it exceeds 0.5°).
