The MHTGQ-JIS1 helical gear hobbed rack uses SCM440 alloy steel. The material undergoes heat treatment, achieving a surface hardness of HRC18~22 degrees. Then, gear hobbing and four-side grinding are performed. The total cumulative pitch error per meter of the rack can be precisely controlled within 0.033mm.
Adopting Japanese JIS standard specifications, the design with a right helix of 21°30' facilitates smoother and quieter meshing during the operation of the rack and gear. Compared to spur gears, with the same module size, helical racks have higher torque, less interference and friction. It is a highly precise transmission component. The rack undergoes heat treatment for high stability; the roughness is Ra0.8, resulting in smooth and quiet operation.
Mainly used in high-end CNC machine tools, it is currently widely applied in woodworking machines, laser cutting machines, bending machines, five-axis machining centers, gantry systems, or robotic arms, etc.
