The CHTM-JIS4 helical rack uses medium carbon steel S50C. The material is not heat-treated; instead, the tooth surface is precision milled. The total cumulative pitch error per meter of the rack can be controlled within 0.075mm.
Using Japanese JIS standard specifications, the 15° right-hand helix design facilitates smoother and quieter meshing between the rack and pinion. Compared to straight teeth, helical racks have higher torque, less interference, and less friction for the same module size. It is a moderately precise transmission component.
Suitable for low torque, light load, and non-precision applications. Applicable to economical CNC machines, automatic doors, or warehouse systems.
