In THK linear guides HSR series, steel balls roll along four rolling surfaces on the LM rail and LM slider; the steel ball row circulation movement is achieved through the end cover plate assembled on the LM slider. Because the steel balls are held by the retainer plate, the steel balls will not fall off even if the LM slider is pulled out from the LM rail, except for HSR8, 10 and 12 types.

 

Each steel ball row is designed with a contact angle of 45 degrees to allow the four directions of action on the LM slider to have the same rated load, so it can be used in any posture. Moreover, because uniform pre-pressure can be applied, the friction coefficient is kept low while the rigidity is enhanced. In addition, stable high-precision linear motion can be achieved.

THK Linear Guide HSR-A type This type has threaded processing on the flange of the THK linear guide slider.

THK Linear Guide HSR-B type This type has through-hole machining on the flange of the THK linear guide slider, which can be used when through-holes for mounting bolts cannot be drilled on the worktable.

THK Linear Guide HSR-R type In THK linear guide, it has been reduced THK Guide The width (W) of the slider has been reduced, and threaded processing has been implemented, making it most suitable for miniaturization design.

THK Linear Guide HSR-YR type When using two THK linear guide units facing each other, the worktable machining in the past would take more time, and difficulties would arise in achieving the required precision and adjusting the gap. When we tried moving it again after replacing it with a new slider, the movement was still very poor.
