The LGS single-radius linear guide belongs to the high-centering series and is designed for mid-to-small load machine tools with larger installation errors, friction sensitivity, or high sealing and dust-proofing requirements.

The LGS series has the following characteristics:

1. Self-aligning capability

The circular arc groove is a DF (45º-45º) combination, which has self-aligning capability. Even if the mounting surface has a certain deviation, it can be absorbed by the internal guide, resulting in high-precision, smooth, and stable linear motion. Generally, the accuracy and surface quality of the mounting surface do not need to be very high; fine planing or fine milling is sufficient. If the guide needs to reach very high accuracy after installation, the mounting surface must also have high accuracy.

2. High rigidity in all aspects

The LGS series guide adopts a four-row circular arc groove design. The 45-degree contact angle of each groove ball ensures uniform load-bearing capacity in the four directions of up, down, left, and right of the slider; pre-load can be applied to improve rigidity as needed. 3. Smooth and stable motion

The optimized design of the transition area at both ends of the slider raceway effectively reduces the vibration caused by the entry and exit of steel balls into the raceway.

It was visually apparent that the linear guide rail was damaged. When the equipment on the guide rail was lifted with a crowbar and the slider was removed, it was found to be damaged. Due to severe rusting at the mounting points of the slider and rail, it was difficult to remove the slider when disassembling it, which may have caused the damage to the linear guide rail. When we tried moving it again after replacing it with a new slider, the movement was still very poor. It is estimated that simply replacing the slider would not only cause it to be damaged again, but may also damage the rail and rack. Therefore, we informed the customer of the current condition of the equipment, the repair method and the quotation, and persuaded the customer to carry out further repairs. Repair process The equipment was lifted with a crowbar, and wooden blocks were placed under the workbench to prevent the equipment above from falling, and then the slider was removed. When trying to remove the slider, it was quite difficult to move it due to severe rust on the rail. Since the slider could not be removed smoothly, we first removed the rust using sandpaper and rust remover. (The rust on the rail made it difficult to move the slider; if the slider was forcibly moved, it could be damaged.) After the repair and test run, the workbench of the profile processing equipment ran smoothly.
