The THK SRG series sliders are roller series sliders, possessing ultra-high rigidity. Using high-rigidity rollers as rolling elements and making the roller full length more than 1.5 times the roller diameter, higher rigidity can be obtained.

Equal load capacity in four directions. To ensure that the four directions of action (radial, lateral, and anti-radial) on the LM slider have the same rated load, each roller row is designed with a 45° contact angle configuration, thus achieving high rigidity in all directions.

Smooth movement is achieved by preventing offset. The rollers are evenly spaced and arranged in a cycle by the roller retainer, preventing offset when the slider reaches the load zone and minimizing fluctuations in rolling resistance, resulting in smooth and stable movement.

Long-term operation without maintenance. Using a roller retainer eliminates friction between rollers and improves grease retention, enabling long-term maintenance-free operation.

World standard dimensions. The dimensions of this model are based on the all-steel ball LM guide rail HSR type, developed by THK, a pioneer in linear motion systems, which has in fact become a world standard.

Most importantly, the SRG series is a roller series with a retainer, and the line contact slider is more rigid and has a larger load capacity than the ball point contact slider, with higher isotropic force in four directions.

The following is a case study of replacing and repairing a linear guide rail: Customer feedback: "The equipment suddenly stopped moving left and right, so it needs repair." Therefore, we went to the site to replace the linear guide rail installed on the equipment. On-site confirmation: A device for processing profiles is installed above the linear guide rail. This device moves left and right using the linear guide rail to process the profiles. However, the guide rail on site could no longer move left and right, preventing it from working. It was visually apparent that the linear guide rail was damaged. When the equipment on the guide rail was lifted with a crowbar and the slider was removed, it was found to be damaged. Due to severe rusting at the mounting points of the slider and rail, it was difficult to remove the slider when disassembling it, which may have caused the damage to the linear guide rail. When we tried moving it again after replacing it with a new slider, the movement was still very poor. It is estimated that simply replacing the slider would not only cause it to be damaged again, but may also damage the rail and rack. Therefore, we informed the customer of the current condition of the equipment, the repair method and the quotation, and persuaded the customer to carry out further repairs.
