Introduction to the installation of HTPM Guangdong Kate's linear guide rail:
1. Combination methods
Common combination forms of guide units are shown in Figure 4 below. The slider can also be used as a base, as shown in Figure 5, with the guide rail placed under the worktable. Additionally, the guide unit can be installed in several other ways, as shown in Figure 6.

Accuracy requirements for the installation surface
Rolling linear guide units, due to their multiple steel balls, have an averaging effect on errors. The elastic deformation of the guide rail further reduces errors on the installation surface. Multiple sliders also have an averaging effect on errors. The motion error of the motion installed on the guide rail will be reduced to 1/2 to 1/5 of the installation surface error. Therefore, under normal circumstances, the installation surface does not require grinding; precision planing or milling is sufficient. (If a very high precision is required after the guide unit installation, the installation surface must also have a high precision.)
Installation errors have a certain impact on frictional resistance and the lifespan of the guide unit, as shown in Figures 7 and 8. Larger installation errors will result in increased dynamic friction and reduced lifespan. Under normal circumstances, if the installation error is controlled within the allowable error range, small and stable frictional force and a long service life can be ensured.
