Precautions for installing linear guides on square tubes:

First, please carefully check for scratches or rust before installation. When preparing for installation, please clean the rust-proof oil and remove burrs, dirt, and bumps from the equipment surface.

Second, a laser interferometer should be used to measure the roughness of the mounting surface of the main linear guide. The flatness of each convex surface is allowed to be 0, and the straightness and roughness of the entire stroke must be 1, 6, and the appearance has no casting defects.

Again, when machining the locking screw holes on the mounting surface of the linear guide, it is necessary to confirm whether the position of the mounting screw holes is correct, and the center distance of each connecting screw hole should be larger. Less than 0.1mm or less than 0.1mm; in order to ensure high-precision screw hole machining, CNC equipment needs to be used for positioning processing.

Then, when chamfering the mounting surface of the linear guide and the reference mounting surface on the side of the guide, the chamfer radius should be less than or equal to 3.5mm.

Precautions for removing linear guides on square tubes:

1. Linear guides have plastic parts at both ends and sides. During installation, do not hammer with hard tools. During the trial run after installation, do not allow any objects to run at high speed. If hit, if the plastic part is broken, the steel balls will slide out and the slider will fall.

2. It is strictly forbidden to disassemble parts of the linear guide at will, which will affect the accuracy and flexibility. It is strictly forbidden to install steel balls that do not meet the specifications.

3. If necessary, do not remove the slider from the linear guide. If unloading is required, the auxiliary linear guide must be aligned first, and then the slider must be removed.

4. Linear guides are usually filled with lubricating oil before leaving the factory. If they need to be cleaned, they must be dried first. If you use lubricating oil at home, it is strictly forbidden to run the linear guide without lubrication.
