What is the process of THK slider manufacturing?
THK sliders are mold components that slide perpendicular to or at an angle to the mold opening direction during mold opening operations. Sliders are used if the mold cannot be demolded normally without them due to product structure reasons. The material itself can withstand appropriate hardness, wear resistance, and frictional movement. The cavity or core part of the THK slider has the same hardness as other parts of the cavity and core.

Mainly composed of sliders and rails, sliders are mainly used in sliding friction rails. Linear rails, also known as tracks, rails, linear guides, or linear tracks, are used for linear reciprocating motion and can withstand a certain torque, achieving high-precision linear motion under high loads. In mainland China, it's called linear rail, and in Taiwan, it's generally called linear guide, linear track.
The function of linear rail motion is to support and guide the moving parts to reciprocate linearly in a given direction. According to the frictional characteristics, linear motion guides can be divided into sliding friction guides, rolling friction guides, elastic friction guides, and fluid friction guides. Linear bearings are mainly used in automated machinery such as German-imported machinery, bending machines, and laser welders. Of course, linear bearings and linear shafts are used simultaneously. Straight rails are mainly used in high-precision mechanical structures, and no intermediate medium, such as rolling steel balls, is used between the moving and fixed components of the straight rail.

The crank slider mechanism is a commonly used mechanism in machines, mainly used to convert continuous rotation into reciprocating motion or reciprocating motion into continuous rotation. It is widely used in automatic feeding mechanisms, stamping machines, and internal combustion engines.
4. Speed Position
The crank slider mechanism is designed according to the ratio of the speed of the slider's working stroke to the average speed. One problem is determining the speed position of the slider's working stroke. The speed position of the slider in different types of crank slider mechanisms is discussed. That is, if it is an offset crank slider mechanism, the speed of the slider will appear where the crank and connecting rod are perpendicular to each other. In a centripetal crank slider mechanism, the speed of the slider usually does not appear where the crank and connecting rod are perpendicular to each other; as the rod length ratio increases, the slider's speed and the crank and connecting rod approach 90 degrees.
When the crank slider mechanism is connected in series with other mechanisms, such as gear-rack mechanisms and cam mechanisms, to form a composite mechanism to achieve a specific function, it is often designed according to parameters such as the ratio δ = υC max / υC m of the speed of the slider's working stroke to the average speed of the working stroke. Therefore, understanding the speed position of the slider's working stroke is crucial to the design of the mechanism.
