Guidance accuracy refers to the levelness of the trajectory of the moving parts when moving along the guide rail direction. The main influencing factors of guide accuracy include: geometric accuracy of the guide bearing surface, guide structure type, guide pair contact accuracy, surface roughness, stiffness of the guide support, thickness of the support to the base, and stiffness of the base.
The geometric accuracy of linear motion guides generally includes: straightness in the vertical and horizontal planes; parallelism between the two guide surfaces. Its geometric accuracy can be expressed as the total error or unit length error of the guide.
