Structure and Features: Steel balls roll along four precisely ground rolling surfaces on the LM rail and LM slide block. A ball retainer and returner assembled on the LM slide block cause the rows of steel balls to circulate. To ensure that the four directions of action on the LM slide block have the same rated load, each row of steel balls is designed with a 45° contact angle. Therefore, it can be used in any orientation, and because uniform pre-load can be applied, a low coefficient of friction is maintained while strengthening rigidity in all four directions. Simultaneously, due to the low cross-sectional height and the high-rigidity design of the LM slide block, stable high-precision linear motion is achieved.

When we tried moving it again after replacing it with a new slider, the movement was still very poor.
