Usage
(1) Do not disassemble the parts. This may cause damage to the functionality.
(2) Do not drop or strike the precision linear roller guide. Otherwise, scratches and damage may occur. In addition, even if no damage is visible, impact may cause functional damage.
(3) Removing the inner slider of the precision linear roller guide from the outer rail, or exceeding the travel range, may cause steel balls to fall out. Please pay attention to this.
(4) When contacting the product, please use protective equipment such as protective gloves and safety shoes as needed to ensure safety.

Usage Precautions
(1) Please take care to prevent the entry of foreign objects such as chips and coolant. Otherwise, damage may occur.
(2) If foreign objects such as chips are attached, please clean them and then reapply lubricant.
(3) Please avoid using it in conditions exceeding 80℃.

(4) Using the product while the rolling element is dislodged may cause early damage.
(5) If the rolling element falls out, please stop using the product and contact K.
(6) If the rigidity and accuracy of the mounting components are insufficient, the bearing load will be concentrated locally, significantly reducing bearing performance. Sufficient consideration should also be given to the rigidity and accuracy of the support and base, and the strength of the fastening bolts.
With micro-movements, it is difficult to form an oil film on the contact surface between the rolling surface and the rolling element, which may cause micro-motion wear. Please use a grease with excellent resistance to micro-motion wear. In addition, it is recommended to periodically move the full stroke length to form an oil film between the rolling surface and the rolling element.

Lubrication
(1) Please thoroughly clean the rust preventive oil with a cleaning agent, then apply lubricant before use. For the most suitable grease, THK AFC grease, which maintains lubrication for a long time, is recommended. In addition, for lubrication in cleanrooms, THK AFE-CA grease and THK AFF grease, which produce little dust, are recommended.
(2) Please avoid mixing different lubricants. Even greases with the same thickener may have adverse effects on each other due to differences in additives.
(3) When using in special environments such as locations with frequent vibrations, clean rooms, vacuum, low temperatures, and high temperatures, please use a grease that matches the specifications and environment.
(4) When lubricating the product, apply the lubricant directly to the rolling surface, and perform several run-in operations in units of stroke length to allow the grease to penetrate into the product.
(5) The consistency of the grease changes with temperature. The sliding resistance of the precision linear roller guide changes with consistency; please note this.
After greasing, the sliding resistance of the precision linear roller guide may increase due to the stirring resistance of the grease. Be sure to perform a run-in operation and fully run-in the grease before operating the machinery. After greasing, excess grease may splash around; please wipe it off as needed.

e) The lubricating properties of grease change with increased use time, and lubricity decreases, so it is necessary to inspect and replenish grease according to usage conditions. The optimal grease replenishment interval varies depending on operating conditions and usage environment. Please determine the final grease replenishment interval and amount based on the actual equipment.
 

Installation
The installation surface of the precision linear roller guide ER type should be processed with as high precision as possible.
When fixing the outer rails of ER513 and ER616 types, No. 0 flat head small screws for precision instruments can be used. When fixing the outer rails of ER920 and ER1025 types, please purchase cross-slotted flat head screws separately (refer to table
(1) for use. (When using ordinary small screws for ER513 type and ER616 type, the inner slider may contact the screw head).

Storage
When storing precision linear roller guides, please store them horizontally indoors in their original TK packaging, and avoid high temperatures, low temperatures, and high humidity.
 

Disposal
Please dispose of the product properly as industrial waste.
