The following points should be noted when installing the clamper:

1. Installation timing: The clamper is usually installed after the linear guide and slider are installed. It is recommended to install it between the two sliders. There are many types of clampers on the market now, and the suitable guide rails are also different. Guide rail brands include THK linear guide rails, HTPM linear guide rails, HIWIN linear guide rails, etc. The usable brand must be confirmed.

2. Pre-tightening and fixing: Hand-tighten the screws of the clamper to temporarily pre-tighten and fix it on the slide. Then, use a torque wrench to tighten the bolts to the specified torque.

3. Interference check: With the clamper clamping the guide rail, release the clamping state and confirm whether the contact surface of the clamper interferes with the guide rail. If necessary, readjust the clamper.

4. Air pipe connection: When connecting the clamper to the pressure air pipe, the length of the air pipe should be shortened as much as possible, because the longer the air pipe, the longer the reaction time. After connection, check for leaks.

5. Operation specifications: Operate according to the clamper's assembly specifications. Do not arbitrarily change the assembly sequence or method, and follow the relevant safety operating procedures.
